Nick Huggett is best known for discovering, signing and developing Adele, as well as signing Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, MIA, Jack Penate, Alex Clare, Rizzle Kicks, Jack Garratt, Kenya Grace and Lola Young amongst many others. 

 

Having left school at 16 to work in a local independent record store he went on to work at London institution Mr Bongo. After several years on London's alternative dance music scene,  in 2000 Nick was offered an A&R job by James Lavelle at seminal cult label Mo Wax, before going on to  join XL in 2003.

 

Since his early days working at XL Huggett has gone on to hold senior A&R positions at Columbia, Island, Parlophone and Because,  as well as building a  successful career as an artist manager for Kenya Grace and Lola Young, both of whom have achieved significant commercial success on a global level. 

 

Nick has now established his own independent company, exploring innovative ways of working within the modern music business, and bringing to bear  his wealth of label and management experience in every aspect of artist development.
